Holidays in St Ives and Carbis Bay
There are lovely walks on the coastal path to the quaint old
town of St Ives where you can visit The Tate Gallery and the Barbarba Hepworth Museum. Art and Craft shops are in
abundance with something to suit everyone.
St Ives offers a selection of beautiful restaurants, some of
them are award winning. It also has wonderful sandy beaches. From the harbour you can embark on a selection of boat
trips for sightseeing, fishing and wildlife safaris. Seals, Dolphins and Basking Sharks can all be seen in the area
at different times of year and there is a wide selection of Marine Birdlife to be seen
year-round.
If you prefer to you could take our local St Ives Bay line
train, which runs. Around the cliffs and through the sand dunes offering breath taking views. The train runs
between St Ives and St Erth stopping at Carbis Bay, Lelant and Lelant Saltings.
Tradewinds in an ideal location from which you can explore
all of Cornwall. You can visit the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Port Issac where the popular
programme Doc Martin is filmed, or for those of you who love Rosamund Pilcher you can visit some of the wonderful
locations that she writes about or you may just prefer to visit the Minnack Theatre, Falmouth, Newquay and Lands
End.
